at Lake Cities Community Church

We are gathering physically every Sunday morning at 9:30am & 11am. (These services are also broadcasted online via our website and on Facebook!)

Reservations for worship are required each week to ensure space for social distancing. Building capacity will be limited to about 40 people. Click here to register:

Masks are required at this time. We recognize that there are several different reasons why adults or children cannot wear a mask. In those cases, we are asking you to continue to worship online for now. Masks will be made available each Sunday for those who need them.

You will be welcomed to the building by greeters who will use a non-contact thermometer to take your temperature and ask you some simple screening questions. If you have a temperature over 100, we will ask you to watch our services online out of respect for others in attendance.

Extra measures are being taken to deep-clean our building. Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the campus.

The Surgeon General and CDC strongly recommend that we keep social distancing (a 6’ buffer between people) during these times. As a general rule, avoid physical contact with others (handshakes, hugging). While you may feel comfortable with some form of contact, other individuals may not.

Chairs in the sanctuary will be grouped in four-seat-clusters. Larger family groups are invited to add chairs so you can all sit together. Small groups or individuals will need fewer than four chairs. Ushers will be available to assist with seating.

Bulletins will be available digitally. You can access these via the weekly email (contact to receive this!) or, look on Facebook every Sunday morning-

Offering plates will not be passed. A new box for offerings will be located in the back of the sanctuary, near the doors. You can also give online through our website here:

Communion elements will be available in a prepackaged, sealed bread and juice cup for you to pick up before entering the sanctuary.

For now, coffee and beverage services will be suspended to avoid common touch points. We encourage you to bring your own and enjoy it in your car before and after service.

During our worship services, we will have pre-recorded music provided by our praise band - the same worshipful music we have enjoyed since we have been online. If you are with us in person, you are free to sing along with your mask on!

We are encouraging everyone to make their way to their vehicles fairly quickly after the conclusion of the service to minimize excessive contact. You are welcome to continue conversations in the parking lot or off-campus at another location. If gathering is to occur, it is recommended that safe social distance guidelines be followed per the current CDC recommendations.

If you are sick, not feeling well, or if you are highly "at-risk", please stay home and continue to worship with us online. This is also a great way to participate in worship if you're not quite ready to re-enter a large social setting, given the circumstances.

You can join us via the "LIVE" tab here on our website:
or on our Facebook Page: (This is recommended for the purpose of live fellowship through the comments section and so you can like and share the message with your friends.)

If we discover that a person diagnosed with COVID-19 has been in the facility, we will communicate with staff and congregants about potential exposure while maintaining confidentiality and will take appropriate measures.

We are offering limited childcare/nursery) at 11:00am only, and also exploring possibilities of safely returning to full programming soon. For now, kids in attendance are encouraged to sit with their families. Parents, we do not expect children to be perfectly silent or still. Totally okay.
Again, LCKIDZ is only during the 11:00am service for now.
But, we do offer weekly materials for kids ministry at home (See the midweek email for activities themed to the worship service).

We are likely waiting until a vaccine or other licensed treatment is readily available in order to go back to what we will call the “new normal.” However, as details and metrics change, we will also make changes to our worship service and different areas of ministry.

If you have a question not covered here, please email us or call the church office. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Continue to pray for our elder board and other leaders as they wrestle with decisions for us during these challenging times. Pray for God to give us greater unity as we shine His light and pursue His mission as hard as we ever have!
