Meet our amazing leaders at Lake Cities!
Pastor Craig was born in Champaign, Illinois, raised in suburban Chicago and Phoenix. He is married to his wonderful wife Tammy and they have four children.
Craig has a business background, having worked in human resources management before following God's call into full-time ministry. He graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary (Th. M) in 2006 and is currently working on a doctorate of ministry from DTS.
Craig enjoys reading, home-improvement projects, and watching movies with his wife and family.
Sam is a native of Rowlett, TX, who moved back home from Nashville in 2016 to join Lake Cities with his amazing wife, Brooke.
After receiving a degree in commercial music from Belmont University in Nashville, Sam played and taught music there for a few years. Then, in 2014, God took hold of his life and began to give him a heart to pursue music ministry back in Texas. This eventually led to a conversation with Lake Cities that resulted in Sam moving down to join the church staff. In addition to serving at Lake Cities, he is the front man of the Christian recovery band, Son Ship.
Sam enjoys playing board games, looking forward to new Star Wars movies, and petting his cat.
Are you interested in serving on the worship team? Let Sam know!
Lake Cities has 6 Godly men who serve as elders- Micah Foster, Allen Johnson, Ross Light, Ian Mackie, Ali Master, and Craig Schill.
These men volunteer their time and energy to pour into the heart of the church and ensure that we are fulfilling our mission to build healthy and balanced believers well.
Many of the day to day ministries of Lake Cities are run by our deacons- a group of women and men who oversee various teams such as Children's Ministry, Hospitality, and Outreach.
